  1. The Government of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Digital Malawi Acceleration Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for the Supply and delivery of ICT Equipment and accessories (Laptops, Computers, Printers, Tablets) for various government agencies in Malawi.

  2. The Public Private Partnership Commission now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply and delivery of ICT Equipment and accessories (Laptops, Computers, Printers, Tablets) for various government agencies in Malawi as follows:

3. Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid

4. Online tenders Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023, Fifth Edition (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Public Private Partnership Commission and inspect the bidding document during office hours to hours at the address given below at 10(a)

6. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Ten Thousand Malawi Kwacha (MWK10,000.00) or any freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash or Bank Certified check. The document will be available and can be downloaded from the following Websites: https://www.pppc.mw/procurement/adverts and https://www.ppda.mw/procurement-notices/

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below (10b) on or before 26th February 2025. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below (10c) on 26th February 2025 from hours Local Time.

8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration as appropriate.

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
